RAVENOUS ROMANCE™ RELEASES ZOMBIE LOVE ANTHOLOGY AND SELLS PRINT RIGHTS TO ST. MARTIN’S PRESS
October 29, 2009 – New York, NY
They said it couldn't be done, so digital publisher Ravenous Romance took the challenge and published HUNGRY FOR YOUR LOVE: An Anthology of Zombie Romance, edited by Lori Perkins.
Ravenous Romance has sold print rights to St. Martin's Press, which plans to publish the book in trade paperback next Halloween.
Following in the footsteps of the amazing cross-genre popularity of such new classics as Pride, Prejudice and Zombies and Breathers, HUNGRY FOR YOUR LOVE brings together best-selling horror and romance authors. Zombie masters Brian Keene (The Rising) and John Skipp (writing as Gina McQueen) are in this volume, as well as new stories by Michael Marshall Smith, Francesca Lia Block and New York Times best-selling author Lois Gresh.
"The zombie mythos is as expansive as the vampire mythos," said Lori Perkins. "In these recessionary times, we're all zombies paying off our bloated mortgages and working for blood-sucking corporations in the aftermath of the Bush Boom, which was a metaphor for vampiric greed."
HUNGRY FOR YOUR LOVE features stories of the lost and re-animated, love among the undead, love among zombie hunters, and even a zombie noir story. It is available as an ebook on www.ravenousromance.com, www.allromanceebooks.com, and will soon be available for Amazon Kindle and on www.fictionwise.com.
