RavenousRomance New and Improved!

We started a readers' group for our raevnous readers at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ravenousromance/ for readers and authors. We know you're already reading our author's individual blogs, right?

Ravenous Romance titles are on sale on our site, as well as Fictionwise, Amazon and All Eromance. All our audio books will be avilable on Audible and iTunes soon, and our books will also be available in the Sony Reader store and through BooksOn Board. We'll have books on demand (so you can read a trade paperback version) really soon too.

We are running a “Stimulus Package” of our own here at RR. Tell all your friends and fellow writers. For every gift certificate purchased, we will send the customer another one of equal value. And, best of all, you can buy gift certificates for YOURSELF! They don’t have to be for someone else. It’s a great way to keep the erotica fires burning in these lean times. This promotion will run until March 7th.

Also, we’ve revamped our Ravenous Readers’ Club, so now it’s only $19.99 for a whole year of a 15% discount on every purchase. It’s a great deal. So, help us spread the word.

What a Week, and Toast Bitches Rock!

I did the San Diego Writer's Conference the first weekend of February (and two days in LA Meeting with my film agent). It was awesome going as the Editorial Director of Ravenous Romance, as opposed to Lori Perkins, the literary agent, because I am pretty sure we'll be able to buy four books that were pitched at this conference. When someone comes to you with a novel or book idea as an agent, the decision to publish is up to someone else.

These conferences have been great for RR at this growth stage. I bought 11 novels (and subsequent writers) from my first conference as an RR editor; we bought 7 books from RWA, and I've bought a few from the Florida Writers' Conference I attended in November. My next conference is the Las Vegas Writers' Conference April 16-18. Can't wait to see what comes up there, where I'm giving a lecture on Writing Erotica for Fun and Profit.

But Toast Bitches is our book of the day. This is an awesome novel about friends by a writer we became aware of through my SEX AND SHOES anthology. So support her, and buy the book now! ravenousromance.com

Ambrosia - Our Hottest Cover?

I just saw the cover for Ambrosia, our sex and food anthology, edited by Jesse Blair Kensington. It's today's book of the day, as our Valentine's Day treat (and if you haven't already taken advantage of our buy one book and get a $5 gift certificate offer, it ends today, so buy this one and APPETITE FOR PASSION, our other food and sex title).

I think this is our hottest cover ever (and I think we have damn hot covers!)

One of our covers was nominated for some hot cover contest (LAND OF THE FALLING STARS by Keta Diablo), but this one really has me going.

I'd love to hear which ones you love.

Go to ravenousromance.com, and let me know.

In Flesh and Stone - Our M/M stuff is so Hot!

Who would have guessed that one of the best-selling categories for RR would be our M/M stuff? Right now, Ryan Field's Pretty Man is the third best-selling title at All eRomance books.

But I think it's because our writers are so damn good, and so unique.

Take IN FLESH AND STONE by Hal Bodner, today's Book of the Day. It is this really hot and dark book about a young artist exploring his personal demons, which just happen to be anthromorphozied by 12 astrological statues that line the condo he's recently moved into. Hal is a horror writer by inclination, so this novel teeters on the brink, but it is amazing how artfully he pulls this off.

I dare you to have read another book like this one!
