Retold fairy tales are all around us and now Ravenous Romance is doing its second anthology of erotically retold tales edited by Rachel Kenley.
In our first anthology SPELLBOUND
- Hansel and Gretel
- Little Red Riding Hood
- Rapunzel
- Beauty and the Beast
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
- The Little Mermaid
- The Frog Prince
- The Shoe Maker and the Elves
- The Little Match Girl
- Peter Pan
all received the erotic romance treatment. Now we’re looking for 10 new stories (3-5,000 words) retelling different tales (no repeating of the above stories will be used in this antho).
Update them, give them a new spin, put the princess in bed with not one but two Prince Charmings. Make it hot and give it a happy ending. Currently we’ve received retellings for this antho on:
- The Princess and the Pea
- Puss in Boots
- The Ugly Duckling
How about Aladdin? The Emperor’s New Clothes? Or Pinocchio?

I love this idea, but how can we be sure that we're not working on the same fairy tale idea as someone else? It would be a shame to write a story only to find out someone else beat you to using that particular tale. Is there any way to 'reserve' your fairy tale while you write the story?
I am sooooo sending sumpin.. now..who to corrupt...:)
