Call for Submissions for I Kissed a Girl Again

I Kissed a Girl: A Virgin Lesbian Anthology continues to be a bestseller and our readers are begging for Volume 2.

We've all heard Katie Perry's hit song, "I Kissed a Girl," and I have to admit I was amazed when I heard my neighbor's five year-old singing it without missing a word or beat. The theme of the song is the theme of the anthology: bi-curious, two or more hetero females finding themselves in close proximity and aroused.

I'm looking for stories that run between 2,000 and 5,000 words. Ravenous Romance pays $10 up front and a pro-rata share of the royalties. Please notify me asap if you are interested in submitting. Send stories, marked with "I Kissed a Girl, Vol. 2" in the subject line, to Please include a short bio. I will be accepting submissions until December 15, 2010.

I look forward to your titillating stories!

Update on In-House RR Anthologies

I'm a little behind on editing the in-house anthologies, so if you haven't heard from us, it only means I haven't finished reading and editing the stories.

I am editing the SEX TOYS anthology now. The first of the in-house anthologies to go up will be APOCALYPSE TODAY, followed by STEAM HEAT, and then SLAVE TO BLOOD. So, if you were meaning to get a story in, there is still time.

We will also be doing a STOCKING STUFFER anthology for Christmas, so look for that announcement soon. We're looking for 24 shorter stories - up to 2500 words, with a Dec. 10 deadline.

About the Authors:

Lori Perkins has been in love with zombies since she first saw NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD as a teen. ZOMBIELAND is her favorite movie, and her mother will tell you that her ex-husband was a zombie. She is the author of 16 books and the Editorial Director of Ravenous Romance.

Jeanine McAdam is delighted to have her story Inhuman Resources in HUNGRY FOR YOUR LOVE. After publishing twenty six short traditional love stories in True Romance magazine it’s been great for Jeanine to explore first love between quirky zombie hunters. Publishers Weekly called Inhuman Resources along with Dana Fredsti’s First Date “zippy stories about the sexy turn-on of successful zombie hunting.”

The single drop of ruby blood on the engraved black cover of Stephen King’s 1975 Salem’s Lot hypnotized Jan Kozlowski into buying it. She began writing horror for her own amusement almost immediately, but didn’t sell her first story, Psychological Bacchanal , until 1997. Her short story, Parts is Parts, won awards in both the International Writing Competition sponsored by DarkEcho’s E-zine and Quoth the Raven’s Bad Stephen King contest. Another short story, Stuff It, was sold to an independent film producer and went into production as a movie short called Sweet Goodbyes. She is also proud to have her zombie story Show Time included in Remittance Girl’s A Slip of the Lip Anthology, her story First Love Never Dies included in Lori Perkins’ Hungry for Your Love: An Anthology of Zombie Romance and her story And Ye Shall Inherit the Fat of the Land included in Lori Perkins’ Fangbangers: An Erotic Anthology of Fangs, Claws, Sex and Love.
